Are you planning on going to prom but can’t find a dress that you can afford? Well your fairy god sisters are here to help you! Oceana is part of a program called The Princess Project, which promotes beauty and self-confidence in high school students who dream of going to prom with style.
The Princess Project, which began in 2002, gives out free prom dresses to girls that they are willing to help, all thanks to the efforts of many donors, volunteers, and community workers. Not everyone can get a dress here, though. To be eligible, you must have a high school student ID.
The address is 2099 Market Street, San Francisco. Muni would be the easiest way to get here, because there is limited parking space. Bear in mind that the dates are limited as well!
The dates are as follows:
Saturday, March 9 from 8:30am-5:00pm
Sunday, March 10 from 8:30am-5:00pm
Saturday, March 16 from 8:30am-5:00pm
We hope you have a successful time in finding the perfect prom dress. See you at prom!
Love,
Your Fairy God Sisters, Zelle & Mariam
